Hello! My name is Analis, and I am a Victim Advocate working with the Cahuilla Consortium. I am a recent graduate of American University, where I received my bachelor's degree in Justice and Law with a focus in criminology. During my first year at American, I was a Theatre major. However, after taking a juvenile justice course, I developed a passion for learning more about the criminal justice system. Previously, I worked alongside the Riverside District Attorney’s office as a Victim Services Intern. While attending college, I also worked for the DC Reads program, which aimed to assist and advocate for children who struggled with literacy. Currently, I am still trying to decide if I would like to pursue a career in law. I am very excited to join this team, and it is an honor to serve the Cahuilla people.
