Ms. Liera has served as President since 2012, and was a committee member of the CEDC’s predecessor, the Cahuilla Economic Development Committee, since 2008. Ms. Liera began her career in tribal gaming regulation in 1998 when she was elected as a Gaming Commissioner for the Cahuilla Band of Indians. Currently, Ms. Liera is the Licensing Director for the Soboba Gaming Commission. Ms. Liera has a B.A. in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Riverside.
