Hello! My name is Alyssa. I was born and raised in the Coachella Valley and have been impassioned by the environmental justice issues I recognized within my community. This led me to pursue an education and a career in environmental sustainability. I graduated from the University of Southern California holding a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Sustainability, Energy, and Society and a minor in East Asian Languages and Culture. I am very eager to begin my work as the Environmental Officer for the Cahuilla Tribal Environmental Protection Office. I hope to be a proponent of environmental conservation and serve the community to the best of my abilities.
