Message from the Fire Chief

On behalf of Cahuilla Fire Department, I want to thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I hope the webpages will provide you with valuable information on the wide range of services our department offers. Our personnel take great pride serving the citizens of Cahuilla Reservation, visitors to the Cahuilla Casino and Resort, and the community of Anza, CA.

Cahuilla Fire Department has been providing professional and dedicated service for several years. Our department continues to grow and thrive alongside our community. We are continuing to work towards being an “all–risk” organization where we respond to the needs of the community regardless of the nature of the incident.

I am extremely humbled and honored to work with dedicated and hardworking employees who strive to provide a premiere quality of life for our community. About The Department

The members of the Cahuilla Fire Department are dedicated to providing for the safety and welfare of the Cahuilla Reservation, the Cahuilla Casino and Resort, and Anza Community through preservation of life, property and the environment. Currently, Cahuilla Fire Department employs six fire department personnel to accomplish its mission. Staffing is provided for a Fire Chief, EOC Specialist, and 4-person fire crew. The Department operates one Type 3 brush engine company, 8 hours a day (8am-4:30pm), Monday-Friday. The Department serves a geographical area consisting of urban development interfacing with wildland areas and covers approximately 20,000 acres just on the reservation alone.
